Event Details

Parent-Child Dedication is a special celebration for your family to celebrate new additions (ages 2 and under)  to your family with close friends. Together, we will celebrate God’s call on the family to help raise a generation that seeks to know Jesus personally.

When you register you also commit to:

  • Complete homework in advance of the event that you will share with those you invite.  (Don’t worry – it’s easy and fun!)
  • Attend a meeting before the service.  Please be sure to attend a quick orientation meeting on Zoom.) or set up a one on one, or phone or video call. This allows our Next Gen team the opportunity to meet you, hear your story, and offer some details about the event.

FAQ:
Why can’t I register children over age three?

Every parent is called it to be the primary spiritual leader for his/her children.  This service recognizes that calling and begins a process to help parents do that.  However, children over three can misinterpret that as a personal salvation experience.  We never want to create an opportunity to confuse a child.  For this reason, our age limit is two years of age and under.

I have a unique family situation (divorced/single/parents not married).  Can I still participate?

Parents are called to be the spiritual leaders of the home for their kids.  While making a commitment to raise your child to know Jesus is important, we believe it starts with a personal decision to follow Him and model that in your relationships as well. We want to help guide you in that. To discuss your unique situation, please contact us.

I’ve participated in a previous Parent/Child Dedication.  Do I still need to attend the orientation meeting?

Yes!  More than anything, this is about relationships.  Come and meet others who are walking alongside you in the same phase of life and bring your experience to encourage new parents!
