HEAR FROM PASTOR TERRY
The word we continue to hear often in recent days is ‘unprecedented.’ Never in our lifetime have we experienced what we are currently experiencing with the coronavirus. It has changed almost everything in our country, including how we worship. Ocean View, like many churches, has moved to an online experience. Since many are new to ‘online only’ when it comes to church, we have provided some help below. If at any time you have questions or need help navigating these online environments, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us HERE.

ONLINE WORSHIP EXPERIENCES
You can engage online several different ways on the weekend using one of the platforms below.
ONLINE GIVING
We know that part of your worship experience is giving, so we have a secure way for you to give online. If this is your first time giving, it will involve a step or two initially to set up your profile but once that is set, all future giving will be simple. You can also text “oceanview” to 77977.
CRISIS ASSISTANCE
Many in our community have been affected by COVID-19, and we want to be a church community that is meeting the needs around us! If you have a need, or if you can meet a need, take your next step below!
LOCAL MINISTRY PARTNERS
Just because we aren’t gathering as the church on the weekend, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be the church in our community. We partner with several organizations that are doing an amazing job at meeting the needs of those that are feeling the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. If you are looking for a place to serve, we can help.
ONLINE KIDS AND STUDENT EXPERIENCES
At Ocean View, we believe in the next generation’s potential to know and follow Jesus. We believe in partnering with parents and connecting kids and students with leaders in age-intentional environments. It shouldn’t be any different in the virtual world. Each week we will have special opportunities to worship and connect with others.
GROUPS
Our Neighborhood Groups and Bible Study Groups meet all over the Grand Strand and since our local and national officials have discouraged any gatherings of more than 10 in size, we are currently postponing physical gatherings of all of our groups. Instead, we are moving these environments to an online experience. If you are currently in a group, you no doubt have already been contacted by your Group Leader. If you aren’t currently in a group, now is the perfect time to explore the virtual world connecting and growing together in relationship with Jesus and others.
OCEAN VIEW STAFF AND OFFICES
While Ocean View’s facilities will remain closed, our team will continue to work throughout the week ministering to and meeting the needs of our church body. If you have a need or can assist in meeting the needs of others, please contact us at 843.449.3384 or send us an email
