I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home in upstate New York, so I consider myself a “transplanted Yankee.” My husband John and I moved to the beach in 1998. We have 3 children, 2 daughters who live near us and 1 son who still lives in upstate NY. At this point, we have 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. I have worked (ministered) at 3 churches since we’ve moved here, and God has blessed me with the position I am now in here at Ocean View. I enjoy being able to work with the financial aspect of Ocean View and have learned “way more than I ever wanted to know” about the physical facility and its operations. I do take seriously the verse that God gave me a few years ago when I started in this position: “Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:2 NLT
If you have any questions about the finances of the church, please be sure to give me a call and I will be glad to talk with you. I am definitely thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord here at Ocean View Baptist Church.
